Although I preferred IRC I'm now on Twitter at @JoBrodie. None of the science or medical information I might post to this blog should be taken as medical advice (I'm not medically trained). Think of this blog as a sort of nursery for my half-baked ideas hence 'stuff that occurs to me'.

I work both at (Job 1) Diabetes UK as a Science Information Officer (effectively a science-specialist librarian but not quite a clinical librarian) and (Job 2) Queen Mary University of London (on the EPSRC-funded @CHI_MED project); all views are my own. Clip art includes this picture under "scientists" :)

Clip art is my new favourite thing and I've been using it quite a lot recently for work. Out of curiosity I wondered what it had for scientists and there's a pretty good range of diverse people (gender, diversity, boffin-ness - there are a couple with mad hair) and roles (lab scientists, rocket scientists etc)... but I also found this. Does it depict Dolly the sheep?

I've always assumed that Clip Art pictures can be freely used but if this is yours and you want me to take it down then I will :)
