Answering questions about Twitter on Twitter: doing a sort of Twitter Surgery

Every so often I answer (the) questions (that I can answer) about Twitter and following today's discussions I thought I'd try and answer any Twitter-related questions for the next half hour or so. Obviously I don't know everything about Twitter (!) but if you also add the hashtag #TwitterHelp then this increases the chance that someone else might see it and produce an answer. Anyone seeing a tweeted question that they can answer should answer it, is my basic policy.

I'll include Qs and As below (anonymously).

If everyone's out at the pub or watching television then there won't be any Qs or As below :-)

Comment policy: I enthusiastically welcome corrections and I entertain polite disagreement ;) Because of the nature of this blog it attracts a LOT - 5 a day at the moment - of spam comments (I write about spam practices, misleading marketing and unevidenced quackery) and so I'm more likely to post a pasted version of your comment, removing any hyperlinks.

Comments written in ALL CAPS LOCK will be deleted and I won't publish any pro-homeopathy comments, that ship has sailed I'm afraid (it's nonsense).
